Tobacco Less Nicotine in E-Cigarettes, Right?
Not Sure that with Electronic Cigarette You Getting Less Nicotine
Makers of e-cigarettes recommend their new product as the first healthy cigarette, free of harmful chemicals and tar typically found in every smoking product. The only ingredient found in e-cig pure liquid nicotine.
As it is known, for almost a year the Food and Drug Administration was able to regulate e-cigarettes.
So, when the FDA analyzed e-cigarettes it found that these cigs contained much more nicotine per puff in comparison with cigarettes. But a recent investigation reported that it found that electronic cigarette deliver little to no nicotine when users smoke it. In the end is not clear how much nicotine contain e-cigarettes.
Scientists said that in general plastic cigarettes for the first time appeared in China about 7 years ago, but only recently Americans started to import them and selling them via internet and at mall kiosks.
The FDA explained that electronic cigarettes don’t contain tobacco. However they contain nicotine-infused water, which is heated via a lithium battery to create an odorless vapor. The e-cigs manufacture uses such ingredient for to simulate the smoking experience while delivering the addictive nicotine smokers desire.
In general the FDA considers e-cigarettes nicotine delivery systems. However the e-cig sellers, which have names like Smoking Everywhere, declared that the recent methods are nothing more than cigarette alternatives for smokers who need a nicotine portion but can’t get outside, not instruments to help them quit smoking.
They also said that because their new products don’t contain tobacco, they’re safeguarded from the FDA’s new force to control cigarettes and other smoking products.
The FDA in the last spring thought that they found a dark hole in e-cigs. For example, after examining e-cigarettes in the laboratory, they found that signs of injurious chemicals, such as diethylene glycol, an ingredient in antifreeze, which they declared was the main cause why these cigs could be banned.
The distributors requested the ban, and last month a federal judge controlled in their favor, declaring: “This instance appears to be yet another example of the FDA’s harsh efforts to regulate recreational tobacco products as drugs or devices.”
Even this recent investigation of FDA didn’t show a concrete answer about nicotine levels of electronic cigarettes.
